POLICIES

Quality assurance

 

We do our best to check every garment as it goes through the printing process, but inevitably we might miss some. BYOB Print and Design adheres to an industry standard of 72 hours after receipt of garments for you the client to inspect your goods and make any claims if necessary. BYOB Print and Design will not be responsible for garment errors if notified after the 72 hour window. We do our best to check each garment, but the final inspection is ultimately the responsibility of you the client.

 

Garment disclaimer

 

BYOB Print and Design is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important.

 

Spoilage under/over runs

 

Screen printing is a creative endeavor, a craft. That being said we can't promise perfection. Items may have manufacturer defects we missed or slight variances from the mocked up product. For these reasons we allow for a 5% under/over on orders. We recommend ordering an extra 3-5% of your total to accommodate for this, especially if you need an exact total. Although we strive for perfection mistakes do happen.

 

Artwork

 

All submitted artwork must be 300 dpi or in vector format and either Photoshop or Illustrator. Preferred file formats are, in order, .ai, .psd, .eps and .pdf. Please have artwork sized to the actual finished print size you want the design to be. If artwork is created in Illustrator then all text must be converted to outlines. BYOB Print and Design can assist with artwork preparation if needed for an hourly fee. See artwork guidelines page for further info.

 

Changes

 

Any changes made after an order has been placed will incur a $50 fee. This will delay your order even if you have requested a rush or specified a due by date, so be sure your order is exactly as you want it at the time of final approval. Once the job gets started it can be an inconvenience to change direction so it's best to be sure of your order.

 

Cancellations

 

All orders are final. If a cancellation is requested after an order has been placed there will be a 20% restocking fee and payment for any service already provided. NO CANCELLATIONS after the process has already begun on your order and/or if it is a rush order.

 

Refunds/claims

 

BYOB Print and Design does not offer refunds. If a valid error with your order is reported within the 72 hour window we can reprint the necessary garments that exceed the normal spoilage rate. You will be required to return the misprinted items. Shipping expenses will be covered by BYOB Print and Design. We will not be responsible for shirts already sold or given away.

 

Garment care

 

BYOB Print and Design specializes in screen printing plastisol ink using spray tack in order to stick the garment to the press. There may be a residue of spray tack left on the inside of the shirts.  That being the case we suggest washing in cold water and tumble drying low. All garments should be washed before wearing.

We collect your Personal Information when you:

Create an account on the Site or register to use the Service;

Register or apply for a website, either directly or by using your social networking credentials on the Site or Service or a third-party website;

Sign up for a tool, either directly or by using your social networking credentials on the Site or Service or a third-party website;

Interact with us on various social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.;

Post information to the Site or Service that includes Personal Information, for example, by posting in a chat room or on a blog post;

Communicate with us, for example, by submitting queries regarding the Site or the Service, interacting with our customer support, marketing or sales teams, or requesting additional information from us, including newsletters or other marketing materials; and

The email address you provide, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order, in addition to receiving weekly newsletter, company updates, related product or service information, etc.

 

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be kept on file for more than 60 days.

 

DO WE DISCLOSE ANY INFORMATION TO OUTSIDE PARTIES?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. CHILDRENS ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT COMPLIANCE

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
